Pick the blueprint. Skip the eighteen months.
Twelve production-grade reference architectures for launching a bank on the Klyqo platform, grouped into launch shapes, lending & cards, and movement & operations. Each blueprint names the journeys, the providers, the compliance posture, and the realistic timeline. Pick the one that matches your business; we co-build the rest.
Consumer neobank
Mobile-first consumer bank with onboarding · account · card · payments. The canonical “challenger bank” pattern, on the marketplace model: pick your KYC, your card issuer, your payment rails, your notify stack.
SME neobank
Business banking for SMBs. KYB → multi-user accounts → cards → payments → lending. Built for fintechs whose buyer is a small business owner, not a consumer. Expense controls, accounting integrations, role-based access baked in.
Embedded finance
SDK-first banking inside a partner’s product. White-labelled flows via @klyqo/react, server-to-server APIs, sponsor-bank ready out of the box. For non-fintechs adding accounts, cards or lending without holding a license of their own.
Sponsor-bank fintech
Ride a sponsor bank’s BIN with Klyqo as the orchestration layer. Full per-tenant audit trail back to the sponsor, no shared infrastructure with other programs, swap providers without re-papering with the sponsor.
Microcredit bank
Digital microcredit operation in a frontier market. Mambu core, Smile ID + Persona KYC, mobile money disbursement, thin-file alt-data scoring, BNA-style compliance reporting as a rail.
BNPL operator
Checkout finance product for merchants in EU/UK. Persona KYC + Alloy fraud, Marqeta or Stripe Issuing for virtual cards, Modern Treasury for settlement, journey templates for approve · issue · collect.
Embedded SME lending
A SaaS, accounting platform, or e-commerce marketplace adds lending to its existing business product. Klyqo runs underwriting · issuance · servicing under their brand; partner’s data flows in as alt-data scoring.
Card issuance program
Greenfield card program. BIN sponsorship → activation → controls → disputes lifecycle. Issuer-of-record optional — works with a sponsor bank or with your own license. Virtual-first with physical card provisioning when you need it.
Merchant acquiring
Onboard merchants, deploy terminals, settle daily. KYB → terminal provisioning → acceptance → settlement → disputes. PAX-native on the terminals capability. Built for PSP-style fintechs and acquirers expanding into card-present.
Cross-border remittance
KYC → FX quote → payout → recall. Per-corridor compliance posture, per-currency liquidity, real-time tracking. Built for the diaspora corridors incumbents underserve.
Bank switch
Existing bank moving off a legacy core, or SME switching primary banking relationship. Klyqo runs a parallel runtime above both cores, gradually shifts journeys, migrates standing orders + direct debits + balance, zero-downtime cutover.
AML alert triage
Workflow blueprint that bolts onto an existing bank: trigger from sanctions screening or transaction monitoring → analyst escalation → decision tokens → SAR filing. Composable across multiple AML vendors with one analyst console.
Your blueprint
Islamic banking. Climate / green lending. Agricultural credit. Wealth onboarding. Treasury for corporates. If your use case isn’t published yet and you’re serious about launching it, we’ll co-author a blueprint with you. The first banks in a category shape the reference architecture for every later one.
A blueprint names the providers, the journeys, the regulator, the timeline, and the realistic capital requirement. Whitepapers describe; blueprints commit. If a buyer reads a Klyqo blueprint and we can’t deliver against it in the published timeline, the whole document fails. That’s the point — the blueprint is a contract with ourselves about what the Banking OS is for.
None of these match? Co-author one with us.
The blueprints we’ve published are the use cases we’re shipping toward. The blueprints we haven’t published yet are the use cases we’d ship toward if a design partner needs them. Microfinance, BNPL, embedded lending, consumer neobank, core switch, and whatever the sixth one is — that might be yours.
